Reishi is an adaptogenic mushroom that works to 'regulate or reset' your immune system with its immunomodulating properties.  This means that if your immune system is overactive, like in auto-immune disorders, it can assist in bringing the response down.  If your immune system is under active, it can assist in boosting the immune system.

Reishi, like many of the medicinal mushrooms, also contains anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties.
